A land that tells the story
Nestling at the confluence of the Sèvre and Maine rivers, our vineyards rest on an exceptional site that shapes our wines. A rare geological story: the thousand-year-old granites of the Armorican Massif. It is this mineral foundation that gives us the privilege of growing our vines on unique and coveted plots such as the Crus Communaux.
Clisson: Poor soils, dominated by coarse sand and pebbles and resting on Clisson granite, the struggling vines give the wine its finesse and amazing ageing potential.
Château Thébaud : shallow, sandy and stony terroir, resulting from the slow decomposition of Granodiorite and Gneiss, giving the wine deep aromatic complexity, ample structure and the signature of intense minerality.
Melon B: Revealing the terroir
Our choice is based on authenticity: Melon de Bourgogne. This grape variety, with its compact bunches of small yellow berries, is the unique feature of our dry white wines, guaranteeing great freshness. Not very aromatic, it reveals the quintessence and diversity of our terroir.
